PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The structure for the professional development activities for school and district leadership teams will be customized to meet individual school and district needs. Seminars and full day work sessions will provide a variety of interactive strategies that integrate the essential components with the real work of the teams in their schools. Participants will have the opportunity to gain knowledge, practice new skills and apply their learning to the unique context of their work. Presenters will model effective strategies and communication skills. The provision of on-going consultation, technical assistance, assessment and school site visits will ensure the effectiveness of our work with the district and/or school leadership teams.
The following essential components will be woven into the actual tasks that school leadership teams need to accomplish. A focus on curriculum, instruction, and high standards will be embedded in all professional development activities.
