Verizon's Thinkfinity
www.thinkfinity.org The UFT Teacher Center in collaboration with The New York State Teacher Centers and New York Institute of Technology are responsible for the rollout of FREE professional Development in New York State on the Verizon’s Thinkfinity.org Web site. The Verizon Thinkfinity Foundation brings eleven premier national and international educational organizations together to provide educators with FREE online resources such as lesson plans, student and teacher materials, interactive resources and panel-reviewed Web links. The UFT Teacher Center offers opportunities for NYC teachers to gain valuable insights about current issues in technology and teacher education, improve student achievement in traditional classroom settings and beyond by providing high-quality content and extensive professional development training.
