Keeping up with important education Web sites can easily become its own fulltime job. A good list is helpful. On the Internet: Education Focused Web Sites is such a list. It includes Web citations from Volume 17 of the UFT Teacher Center Professional Development Program magazine Special Edition and other sites useful for the professional educator—and for parents, too. Visiting one or several of these sites can assist with all kinds of education planning. There have been some changes (the International Reading Association’s site is now; www.reading.org), but, overall, the list remains useful.
